My very 1st

This is my very 1st digital scrapbook page. I'm sure it is A LOT easier once you know what you are doing! I was pretty proud of myself so I just had to share. Happy blogging!

These are great

My mom told me about these containers that are magnetic from Ikea. Well, a while back I went and bought them and now I want a few more! :) Bo helped me hang them up last night and it is so nice not to have to have them sitting on my desk.

It's done!

Well, my room is finally done (except for some stuff i want to hang on the walls). It looks SO cute and I love it! I hope everyone likes it as much as I do. :) I think that my new obsession is going to be everything pink & black! YAY!! Enjoy the pics. Ü

Posting happy

Today has been a great day for taking pictures! Today as I was driving on the 60 to a wonderful yet dangerous store called Ribbons & Lace I came across this truck on the other side of the freeway that looked like it had driven off of the on ramp. Kinda weird I might add...just 1 cop car chillin and no one else around. Later as I was driving home (had to make a stop at my most favorite store -Scrapbooks ETC-) there were about 4 cop cars blocking where the truck USED to be and it was all coned off and they were just standing around...maybe doing an investigation?? I just had to write about it because I thought it was TOO weird!!

Next picture...I was standing on my drive looking at this HUGE haboob coming straight towards my house...it was kinda scary! I actually had to drive in one last year when I lived in Coolidge and I couldn't see the hood of my car. I do not recommend it AT ALL!

Alrighty...here are some before pics of the said scrapbook/computer room. Oh ya! Good news!! I made (ok, not made, he asked if I really wanted him to move it and I said yes) Bo move the computer out for good so it is no longer a scrapbook/computer room! YAY Just my VERY own scrappin' room to myself. :) Thanks Bo, I love ya!! Its a little messy....sorry!!

So today Bo and I ventured out to the good ole Home Depot to buy paint. Not just ANY color of paint, but PINK paint! :) We are painting my scrapbook/computer room pink and I am putting big black polka dots on one wall with my trusty little Cricut. Stay tuned for before and after pictures. Gotta go start cleaning the room out! Pray that it will turn out as cute as I want it to!!

7 Random Things

1. When I have short hair I am a freak about it. It takes me SO long to fix and when I am done no one and I mean no one is aloud to touch it and I won't lay down unless I know I am not going anywhere. I'm a freak I know!!

2. I have the worlds smallest esophagus. I have to get it "stretched" every so often and if I don't things start to get stuck and I start to choke. Coree (the wonderful friend she is) got to take me and witness it first hand the very 1st time I went to the ER because I had an ibuprofen stuck in my throat for almost 24 hours and they had to put me out and go down with a scope to check it out. The doctor asked me how I even ate food! YIKES!

3. I now have a crush on Jack Bauer. And I can't believe I have to wait until DECEMBER to watch the latest season that comes out on DVD. Sometimes I wonder to myself if a terrorist attack was going to happen and I knew about how would I get a hold of CTU.

4. Katie...I too have a weird thing about checking all of the doors to see if they are locked. I think I probably check them at least twice before I go to bed.

5. I can't sleep with my bedroom door closed. I feel a lot safer with it open. I purposefully put a nightlight right in the hallway so it shines a little in our bedroom so it isn't so scary. :)

6. Bo and I have never gone on vacation by ourselves. If we go anywhere it is either with friends or family. But no matter who we are with we always have the greatest time!!

7. I have never once subscribed to a magazine. Am I weird or what?!

ARRRRRG!

On Friday we had a surprise birthday party for my most favorite cousin Stacey. It wasn't just a normal surprise party, it was a pirate surprise party. We all had to come dressed as pirates or we had to walk the plank into the swimming pool. I do have to say that my aunt Rochelle had THE best costume on! Kevin (my uncle) was supposed to be dressed as Jack Sparrow, but he had to be out of town for work so Rochelle took his place and was a pretty good female Jack Sparrow. Every time I look as this picture I crack up laughing!! She is a hoot!! Can you tell by this picture of Stacey that she had NO idea that we were planning this party behind her back?? We got her GOOD!!
