ouch!

This is what happens when you go to the doctor 4 days in a row and get blood drawn every single time. They take turns on each arm but the bruise never gets to heal. I know I have said this before but I HATE getting my blood drawn!!

My sis. in law tagged me. So here is the 6th picture in the 6th folder. This is last year at the "Climb for the cure" I helped at the bagel/orange juice stop. I somehow talked my brother Richard into waking up at 3 am and going with me. We had so much fun I hope I can make it there this Saturday to help again! I have survived {so far}

I started my shots yesterday and I don't seem to be having any real bad side effects except for a an upset stomach today. I have another doctors appointment on Tuesday morning. They will do blood work and another ultrasound. That is all that is going on so far so I leave you with some pretty hilarious pictures.

I feel like a druggy! :)

I received most of my meds in the mail and Bo and I had our "medicine teaching visit" last week. I have my pre-evaluation appointment on Wed. and then I start all of my meds on the 21st. The nurse said that I will most likely feel like a pin cushion. :( There will be 10 - 12 days in a row where I have to go in the the Dr.'s for blood work and an ultrasound {YIKES!}. After every appointment the nurses and doctors get together and go over my results and then call and leave me a message telling me what meds to take and how much. Bo has gotten pretty good at stabbing me with needles {he had to do it when we were doing the inseminations}. I can't believe it is actually happening! :)

Best news so far!

Bo and I just had another doctors appointment and we heard the best news as of to date. We found out today that my insurance covers 100% of IVF! We are going to be able to have the left over embryo's frozen. If it doesn't work this time {crossing fingers that is DOES work} we will still have enough money from insurance to do frozen embryo transplant. Bo and I thought we were going to have to at least pay a couple {thousand} dollars but it turns out we don't. I cannot explain how much stress this lifts off of our shoulders. Now we just need to focus on having those little embryos want to become our children! :) YAY for great insurance!!!

It's starting

The invitro rollercoaster is starting! I had my first appointment today which consisted of an ultrasound and blood work...nothing too exciting. They said I am able to start my birthcontrol (to help cysts from forming) tonight and I start my other meds on the 21st. I have several doctor appointments lined up for this week and next. I guess I better get used to my blood getting drawn! I absolutly HATE it but it if will get me a baby (or 2) I will deal with it. :) That is the only update I have for now. Sorry it is not very exciting news yet!!
