1 month
I can't believe our girls are already 1 month old! Olivia is becoming our big chunk and Sophie is our little tiny peanut. Here are some hilarious pictures to mark their 1 month birthday.
This is what you get when you try to take pictures of 2 VERY hungry little girls. :)

Here are the details :)
So.....
Remember when I said the doctor discharged me from the hospital on Saturday evening taking terbutaline as needed to stop my contractions? Well, Saturday night, all day Sunday and Sunday night I was still having contractions and I was hurting all over and was so uncomfortable. Monday morning I called my doctor and told him what was going on and he told me to come to his office as soon as it opened. When I got there he checked me again and I was still only dilated to a 3, but he was worried because I was still having a ton of contractions. He asked me how I felt going back on magnesium and I just gave him the "look." I did NOT want to have to go through that again! So, off to labor and delivery I went. They started the magnesium and were monitoring my contractions and my doctor said that if the magnesium didn't work he wasn't going to be too worried. I was on the magnesium for a couple of hours and they still were not stopping my contractions so the doctor came and checked me again and I was dilated to a 4. Since nothing was helping he decided to just deliver the girls since he did not want me to go into full blown labor (for obvious reasons). They did not waste anytime getting Bo and I prepped for the delivery. They gave me about 3-4 anti-nausea meds and gave Bo some pretty attractive disposable scrubs to wear. :) Once we were all ready, they wheeled me into the operating room and gave me the epidural (which by the way did not hurt at all) and they started the c-section. At 4:26 PM I heard the 1st cry and at 4:27 PM came the second. Those cries were the most precious cries I have ever heard in my entire life. I was only able to see the girls for a few seconds and give each one of them a kiss before they took them to the NICU.
After they got me all stitched up they wheeled me into Recovery where I was for a couple of hours. Before they wheeled me to my room, they took me by the NICU to see Olivia & Sophie for a few minutes.
The next day (Tuesday) the nurses where going to have me get up and start walking, but when I stood up I got really light headed and felt like I was going to pass out. They had me lay back down and called my doctor and apparently I lost a lot more blood than they thought. They nurse came back to my room and told me that I needed to get a blood transfusion (kinda scary!) and said that it would be there in a few hours. A few hours went by, and then the whole day went by (literally) and I FINALLY got the blood transfusion at 12 midnight. That was a very hard day for me because I wasn't able to see the girls at all. Wed. was a MUCH better day since I was able to start the healing process and I felt SO much better since I got the transfusion. I was finally able to go see Olivia & Sophie and they looked so perfect. I was so happy that we were finally able to be there together as a little family.
Olivia didn't have to stay in the NICU for very long and we were able to bring her home. Sophie on the other hand is still in the NICU because she is not able to eat as much as she should and is losing weight. If she doesn't start gaining weight they will have to put her feeding tube back in, so we don't know when she will be able to come home. It is very hard and tiring having one little girl home and one little girl still in the hospital, but we know that she is in good hands and she will be able to come home when she is ready & strong.
Here are a few updated pictures of my cute little girls. :)
