A Christmas surprise

My cousin, Stacey was kind enough to take my girls' 2 year pictures. They turned out so good, I seriously can't stop looking at them! We kept it easy and just let the girls run around on the temple grounds. The weather was absolutley perfect and the girls were so good and happy. I know I say it all the time, but my girls are growing up way too fast....I guess it is time to have some more! :)

Twins x2

One of my cousins had her twin girls last month and my girls were finally able to meet them. Our girls are exactly 23 months apart and I am so excited for them to grow up with eachother and become good friends! It was so fun to snuggle and kiss the babies, but I do have to admit that I don't miss that stage of my twins! Life is a lot easier now that they are older! :) My cousin is such a good mom and handles being a mom to twins so well! I am so happy for her and her husband! Having twin girls is the best!

Road trip

The girls and I took a little road trip to see my family in Pima, Safford & Thatcher. It was a pretty quick trip, but we had so much fun! My cousin, Michele has the best back yard ever! Her husband built an amazing play house for his girls and they have cows and chickens, which my girls loved. I had so much fun seeing my family that I haven't seen for awhile and it was so fun to watch all of our kids play. Thank you again Michele for letting us invade your house for a few days! Hopefully I will be able to visit again before to long.

Pumpkin Patch

We thought it would be fun to take the girls to a pumpkin patch and we didn't want to just go to the corner on the side of the road. Sophie's developmental specialist told me about a little pumpkin patch in Gilbert that would be fun for the girls but not as expensive as Schnepf Farms. So, last night we headed out to Mother Nature's Farm and we were a little dissapointed as there wasn't a whole lot to do but the girls had fun running around, decorating pumpkins and riding on the hay ride. Next year we will definitley head out to Schnepf Farms.

Olivia is talking so much. She can count to 10 and she almost knows all of her ABC's. She loves her binky and bear, but only gets them when she goes down for a nap and for bed time.
Sophie still doesn't like to eat...we are still working on it. She is starting to say a lot of words that you can actually understand. She is very attached to her binky and lovie :)
They are both obsessed with Sesame Street (Elmo) and they also love to wear their dress up shoes and go "bye-bye"

We sure love our little trouble makers and can't believe that they are already 2! They just grow up so fast!

sophie's specs

We have noticed for a while now that Sophie's left eye was crossing in a lot and recently I noticed that it was getting worse. I took her to a pediatric eye doctor and he said that she definitley needed glasses to help strengthen her eyes. I tried looking through them to see how strong they are and I couldn't see anything! It really makes me wonder how bad her vision really is. I was a little worried about her trying to take them off all the time, but we haven't had any problems. :) She seriously looks so stinkin' cute I can hardly stand it!

Sophie Bug

This is a video of my brother, Richard, playing with Sophie. Who knew that flying blocks were so funny?! I have never heard her laugh this hard before and it was the cutest thing ever!

Sophie is getting so much better at playing and being happy. YAY!

This box was sitting next to the back door waiting to be taken out to the recycle bin. Olivia thought it was the greatest toy and was pushing it everywhere and then she figured out that she could actually fit in the box, but then had a hard time figuring out how to get out.

I told Olivia to say "CHEESE"....this is the face she made. This girl cracks me up!

When you ask the girls "How big is Sophie/Olivia", they raise up their arms while you say "SO big!" Also, they do this when you play patty-cake and they "toss it up"

I was really wanting to get Olivia's hair cut, because lets be honest, it is getting a little out of control. After her bath when I was combing her hair I thought that it might be long enough for pigtails and sure enough it was!!! She seriously looked SO cute and SO big!

Perfect

Could we seriously have any more perfect weather then what we have been having?
It was such a gorgeous day today so Bo and I spent the afternoon
outside with the girls. They were of course in heaven, and we of course loved
being outside with them. We are trying to soak up the weather while it is nice
because sooner than later it is going to be 120 degrees outside and the only way
we will be playing outside is when we are swimming with Nana & Papa in their pool.

Just right

Our really good friends gave the girls the cutest little chairs. She had originally given them to her kids for Christmas but apparently her daughter didn't care for them and it is a good thing because my girls LOVE them! They are just their size and they can sit in them and get out all on their own. Thank you Kupfer's for the chairs, we love you guys!!
