I survived!

Today was the egg retrieval and I am happy to say that I survived! :) We had to be at the doctors at 7 this morning. When we got there they had me change into a hospital gown and then they started my IV. Bo was with me in the room until we had to say our good-byes and then they had me go into the procedure room. They had me lay on the exam table and strapped my legs into the stir-ups. The doctor and the anesthesiologist were standing by me talking to me and asking questions and then anesthesiologist said he was going to give me my "liquid margarita" and about 5 minutes later I was out cold. When I woke up in the recovery room I was in quite a bit of pain so they gave me Demerol for the pain and it seemed to help. They said that they were able to retrieve 17 eggs so that was exciting to hear. Bo and I were able to go home about an hour after I woke up. When we got home I was instructed to take some medication to help with the pain and then I slept for pretty much the entire afternoon. I did get some more medication so I will post a picture of that later. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers it really means a lot.
